Backstory: When Gael was about 10, he exhibited a knack for alchemy after secretly attempting to practice it following his learning of its existence. His original alchemical experiments were centered on enhancing the size of fruit-bearing plants, and recycling ‘useless’ materials into something useful, like chlorine into oxygen. He has been honing his skills, so he can make sure everyone can afford to live.

Appearance: Shimigoro is a tall but lanky man with paler skin and sharp, longer facial features. His hair is thick but strait and very dark brown falling down over each side of his forehead framing his face but a bit thicker on the left side, cheek born leith in the front, jaw eighth on the sides over the ears and down to the shoulder blades in the back pulled in to a top knot like pony tail behind his head held by a strip of bandage. His eyes are a cool grey and very slightly slanted, almost totally unnoticeably so with angular but not abnormal eyebrows.
Clothing: Cy wears a simple grayish lavender robe like shirt draped over a white undershirt, this is rather loose fitting and the selves are usually rolled up and tucked in to his simple, but also loose fitting black pants held by a brown leather belt. His shoes are a simple black pair of rubber soles and he wears a banner around his shoulders tied behind his back with the kanji meaning “the sword” over the left side.
Personality: Shimigoro is very laid back and calm most of the time, he tends to be rather passive until he’s presented with a challenge that strikes a cord in him. He can be rather dedicated and driven when he wants to be but Cy is primarily a work-shy slacker who would rather live on the run than become a state alchemist. Shimigoro has shown a distaste for people who are quick to violence and avoids conflict when ever possible.

Back-story: Shimigoro was born in a simple provenance in south Asia where he found that studding alchemy was much more interesting that his chores or studies and had a natural talent for it. Though he was skilled and this earned awards and prestige it also came with a commitment, a life of alchemy for the state was a fate worse than a life of drudgery he’d faced before. Disliking the hand fate had dealt him Shimigoro became Cy and fled westward to become a traveling smith alchemist

Alchemic Specialty: Metal, Cy excels in metallic alchemy, able to transmute the properties of most elements in to that of metals with ease and able to alter the properties and shapes of most metals.

-Transmutation circle cards: Cy always carries a large number of thease small paper cards on which is drawn a simple transmutation circle that dies the surface its placed on to make Cy’s own metal transmutation circle on that surface, this uses up the card but is a very quick way to make circles
-Nonachi: Unlike most alchemists Shimigoro uses hard weaponry, namely this weapons grade samurai sword that is nearly a foot longer than a katana and slightly more strait edged
-Raw materials: In his bad are contained various iron ores, gunpowder, blocks of wood, flint, tinder and scraps of various metals used in alchemy. (Brass, copper, iron, steel etc)

Backstory: When he was young, Ruben was abducted by a secret organization in the military, who was given the task of opening the gate. He watched as test subject after test subject vanished into thin air as the gate took them, body and soul, as payment. Then, it was his turn. He did as instructed, and touched the circle. Immediately he blacked out. When he awoke, he noticed his hand was missing. Then he looked around. All the scientists were gone! So he escaped, got a special-made auto-mail hand, and years later joined the military, to secretly take revenge. Revenge, because on his way out, he saw something. The Furor, along with his son, and some other people he didn't recognise. Still, he managed to escape. And during his first year or so as a state alchemist, he started to have bad dreams. Eventually he realized these dreams were what he saw in the gate! He now knew the truth!(and can alchemize without a circle)
